Ove Gehl, Managing Partner: After an apprenticeship as a bank employee, Ove Gehl
studied Business
Administration at the University of Münster. After completing his studies
he took a trainee position at a foreign branch of a large German bank. That was followed
by two years as a loan officer responsible for the analysis and approval of loan commitments
of all foreign subsidiaries. After that Ove Gehl worked in the field of structured finance, where he was in particular responsible for syndicate firm loans. In 1996 he moved to a family-owned business to take charge of building up a new corporate finance department in the holding company. This job was followed by two assignments as a commercial director – firstly for an operating company, and secondly for a corporate division – both of which involved restructuring work. In 2003 Ove. Gehl moved to a manufacturing company becoming managing director and was responsible for a reorganisation to achieve break-even in 2004. Since November 2005 Ove Gehl has been responsible for recovery management at CRM Corporate Recovery Management GmbH. |
